Conwell-Egan Catholic High School proudly prepares its students to be leaders at the college and career level through a rigorous academic program. The goal of academics at CEC is to prepare our students not only to get into the top colleges and universities in the nation, but to become leaders once they’re there.
CEC provides a Christian atmosphere, which promotes the spiritual, academic and social development of the individual within the message of the Gospels. Our school offers a rigorous curriculum designed to meet the individual needs of a diverse student body. We address the challenges our students will face by fostering critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. At CEC, our vision encompasses character development through faith formation, a collaborative effort for educational excellence and committed service to others.
To graduate from Conwell-Egan Catholic High School, a student must earn a minimum of 26 academic credits, satisfy the State of Pennsylvania requirement for physical education and fulfill community service requirements through our Franciscan Service Program.
Once students pass the basic course requirements, they are encouraged to expand on their achievements through Advanced Placement courses and explore an exciting range of electives. Students may also pursue Dual-Enrollment through Holy Family University, to earn college credits while attending CEC.
