CEC offers a comprehensive, college-preparatory curriculum, including Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) level coursework.
The Center for Student Leadership is Conwell-Egan's newest initiative to help students discover and develop their leadership skills. The CSL will provide one-of-a-kind programs that both challenge and reward CEC students.
The arts are a reflection of humanity and the CEC Fine Arts program aims to give students the opportunity to better understand themselves and the world around them.
From freshman to senior year, our students participate in a myriad of activities, clubs, community service projects and more where the main purpose is to make you feel "at home" here at CEC.

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a standardized high school exam that covers five areas: verbal, language, reading, math skills, and math aptitude. The practice test that is administered in 7th grade is provided to help students prepare for CEC's Scholarship test that is administered in the Fall of 2026. THIS TEST CAN EARN STUDENTS AN EARLY-CANDIDATE SCHOLARSHIP! The test takes approximately 3 hours and results will be available 6-8 weeks after the test is taken. Check in begins at 8:30am and the test will begin shortly after that point.

Join us for a fall Open House at CEC! Meet our wonderful students, teachers, coaches, and staff and get an inside look at all things CEC with a guided tour of our campus. Registration is required in advance as these events fill up fast.
Doors to our main lobby will open at 5:15 p.m. for check-in. The event will begin in our Performing Arts Center at 5:45 p.m. promptly. Each registered family will have an assigned tour guide for academic tours. Academic tours will begin at 5:45 p.m. with your assigned group and end at 7:30 p.m. Student Life Meet and Greets will run from 7:30 - 8 p.m. This includes: Athletics Fair, Activities Fair, CEC Administrative Team. For 8th Graders in Archdiocesan Grade Schools:
Students will take the HSPT Test in their local school building the week of September 22. Please contact your AOP Grade School for the final testing date.
Students will take the HSPT one (1) time and send their test scores to up to three (3) AOP High Schools ranked from their top choice to 3rd choice for scholarship awarding review purposes.
Students will list Conwell-Egan as a school to receive their results.
Testing is free to all students.
For 8th Graders in Public, Private, or Charter Schools:
Students will take the HSPT exam at Conwell-Egan on Saturday, October 4 from 8:30 am - 12pm
Students will take the HSPT one (1) time and send their test scores to up to three (3) AOP High Schools ranked from their top choice to 3rd choice for scholarship awarding review purposes.
