The Center for Student Leadership delivers an innovative learning experience aimed at providing resources for career and leadership development. Utilizing our vast professional network, the Center for Student Leadership prepares you to make informed decisions about your future. Through internship experiences, mentoring opportunities, and exposure to leaders in industry, the CSL re-defines career and college readiness for the CEC student.
In collaboration with the dedicated Guidance Department, the Center for Student Leadership offers career and college readiness opportunities both through the senior seminar internship program and additional exposure/networking opportunities.
Students begin their work in the CSL during their sophomore year, building career interest profiles as well as exploring various career paths. Week-to-week, the Center for Student Leaderships invites various alumni and guest speakers to share their stories, experiences, and advice. Routinely, students come to the CSL for resume building/writing workshops, to be matched with alumni mentors, and to gain extra knowledge and direction as you prepare for life beyond CEC.
The Center for Student Leadership features a newly renovated student commons space. This versatile room features a computer lab, student break-out room, library, lounge area, and is used for daily homework//tutoring zones. The CSL also hosts sports and club meetings, alumni and exposure events, and round-table events for our alumni and special guests.
Through partnerships with local & national non-profits, community organizations, and an active alumni base, the CSL promotes group charity events and develops programmatic leadership courses for you to take part in after school.
The Center for Student Leadership aspires to make Conwell-Egan Catholic High School the recognized destination for providing professional, collaborative, and high-end educational endeavors.
The Center for Student Leadership utilizes our dedicated professional network; equipping our students to make informed career & college decisions, and helping them discover their leadership potential.
