As part of the semester-long Character and Leadership Academy with Travis Manion Foundation, students took a trip to the September 11th Garden of Reflection.
Joining the group was Shane Roxberry: Director of the CSL, Pam Lynch from the Danaher Lynch Family Foundation, Joanne Gori from Conwell-Egan's Math & Science departments, and Bob Craven, one of our TMF mentors. Mrs. Gori spoke about her personal connection to the memorial, and how 9/11 has changed her life. In the face of tragedy, our communities bind together and our "families" grow.
This May students with Travis Manion & CEC's EAST department will be undertaking a restoration project at the Bucks County Emergency Shelter.
