Dual Enrollment courses present a unique opportunity for our advanced students. Following completion of the required prerequisite curriculum, students may enroll in dual enrollment courses which are college-level courses here on CEC's campus or on a local college campus - all at no additional cost to the student.

Additionally, our Advanced Placement (AP) courses are eligible for college credit for a fee, regardless of the results of the annual AP exam.

Through our partnerships with Immaculata and Bucks County Community College, these courses are taught by college instructors that follow rigorus syllabi. Essentially, dual enrollment students are afforded the opportunity to earn college credits while in high school. In addition, by passing a dual enrollment course, students also earn their high school credit which will be reflected on their transcript.

LEAP Program
The LaSalle Early Achievement Program (LEAP) gives students the opportunity to earn up to 30 college credits during their junior and senior year of high school. Taught by LaSalle professors, LEAP students take up to 10 courses over seven semesters, earning up to 30 credits within a themed track, all before entering college.

Diocesan Scholars Program
The Diocesan Scholars program is sponsored by the Office of Catholic Education and local Catholic colleges and universities. 

In Junior year, a select number of high-performing students at CEC are invited to compete for positions as Diocesan Scholars. Candidates for the program take part in a rigorous selection process that includes a review of their high school records, confirming evaluations by members of the faculty, submission of a qualifying essay to the selection board, and an interview with the board. 

Diocesan Scholars are permitted to take two college courses free of charge each semester on the campus of a nearby college or university. Students who successfully complete the courses will receive a college transcript and potentially transferable credits.  These courses supplement their current academic roster as a full-time CEC student.
