The National Catholic Youth Conference is a life-changing encounter with Christ that ignites the hearts of young people and renews their passion for the Church. At CEC, our students return from NCYC with a deeper faith, stronger friendships, and the courage to live out their Catholic identity with joy and purpose.
The National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) is the largest gathering of Catholic high school students in the country. It is held each November and alternates between being held in Indianapolis, Indiana and Long Beach, California.
NCYC is a powerful three-day experience that includes speakers giving testimony about their own Faith journey as well as small group discussions, Christian concerts, and more. The Adoration and Mass in either the Long Beach Convention Center (Long Beach) or in Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis) is so amazing. To be in Lucas Oil Stadium in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament or participating in Mass with 15,000 teenagers from all over the country is such a memorable experience. There is so much joy and enthusiasm for the Faith at NCYC, it is truly inspiring.
CEC sends a group of students and adult chaperones to NCYC every year. Students are recommended by their Theology teachers and by Mr. Smith, our Campus Minister. In 2025, CEC is taking 40 students to NCYC in Indianapolis. This is more than twice as many as any other high school in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. CEC has so much enthusiasm for NCYC and for good reason.
