Congratulations to Abu Fofana '26 for being recognized as a recipient of the 2025 Mini Maxwell Award, an honor presented to outstanding high school football players across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The award celebrates student-athletes who excel not only on the field, but also in the classroom and within their communities. Each recipient possesses qualities of leadership, character, and consistent performance.
For more than four decades, the Mini Max Award has highlighted young men whose dedication and impact elevate their teams and represent the very best of the game. Abu embodies those qualities through his commitment to excellence, strong work ethic, and leadership among his teammates.
Fofana credits his success to the collective effort of his teammates, saying, “I’m extremely grateful to receive the Mini Max Award. It’s only a testament to all the work my teammates and I put in all summer long.” His appreciation for his team and dedication to the program reflect the leadership and commitment that define this award.
In addition to being named a Mini Max Award winner, Fofana is also a finalist for Pennsylvania Player of the Year, with both honors set to be recognized at the Mini Max Award Ceremony on February 1.
Fofana has committed to continue his football career at Villanova University this fall.
