CEC offers a comprehensive, college-preparatory curriculum, including Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) level coursework.
The Center for Student Leadership is Conwell-Egan's newest initiative to help students discover and develop their leadership skills. The CSL will provide one-of-a-kind programs that both challenge and reward CEC students.
The arts are a reflection of humanity and the CEC Fine Arts program aims to give students the opportunity to better understand themselves and the world around them.
From freshman to senior year, our students participate in a myriad of activities, clubs, community service projects and more where the main purpose is to make you feel "at home" here at CEC.
Avery has distinguished herself as an outstanding scholar-athlete through her accomplishments in both softball and cheerleading balancing elite athletic performance with exceptional academic success.
On the softball field, Avery was a key contributor to one of the most successful eras in her program’s history. She helped lead her team to Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) Championships in 2023 & 2024, followed by a runner-up in 2025. During that same span, the team captured District 12 Championships in 2023, 2024, & 2025, demonstrating consistent excellence at the highest level of competition. The 2024 season was particularly memorable, as the team advanced all the way to the PIAA State Semifinals, competing among the top teams in Pennsylvania.
Individually, Avery’s performance and dedication were recognized when she earned Second Team All-Catholic honors in 2025. Her skill, work ethic, and leadership made her an important part of the program’s sustained success.
In addition to her accomplishments on the diamond, Avery was also an accomplished cheerleader who competed in fall/sideline & competition cheer supporting school athletic teams. Her competition squad enjoyed a dominant season, finishing in first place at the North Penn, Lansdale Catholic, Hatboro-Horsham and Wissahickon Cheer Challenges, highlighting the team’s consistency and excellence across multiple high-level events.
Through her success in both softball and cheerleading, Avery has demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and leadership that define a true scholar-athlete, contributing to championship-level teams while representing her school community with pride and dedication.
Avery is currently ranked 8th in the Class of 2026. She will be attending Johnson & Wales University in Providence Rhode Island in the fall. Avery will be continuing her softball career at Johnson & Wales.
