First, I would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Powell and the rest of the faculty and staff who have worked endlessly to help guide and prepare the senior class through the college process and their future endeavors. Whether it was writing last minute letters of recommendation, figuring out financial aid costs, and proofreading essays, all of you are greatly appreciated. It is my privilege to share with you today some exciting details about the Class of 2024. To date, this is the highest scholarship amount a senior class has received since I have had the pleasure of working here. The senior class has earned over 25 million dollars in scholarships for their efforts in and out of the classroom. Whether it be from athletic achievement, local scholarships, and/or academic merit, these students truly set the bar high.
Our students are rich in diversity and will go on to serve in the military, join the workforce, and attend college. We have students attending schools as close to home as Bucks County Community College, as far west as the University of Honolulu, and as far south as The University of Central Florida.
Our students will attend local universities like Temple, Drexel, West Chester, and The Pennsylvania State Universities. Others will leave home for places like the United States Military Academy at West Point, Fordham University, Howard University, The College of Charleston, and The University of Alabama. Our Eagles will certainly be soaring all across our nation!
We are also proud to say that many of our students plan to continue their Catholic education by attending Kings, Holy Family, Gwynedd Mercy, St.Joe’s, LaSalle, Neumann, and The Catholic University of America.
The members of the Class of 2024 are driven to pursue their dreams. These dreams and passions will lead students to study Health Sciences at Clemson University, PreMed at Bates College, Biomedical Engineering at Virginia Tech, and Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Wherever our students are heading, we are certain that the character, excellence, and commitment that they have developed over the past four years as Conwell-Egan students will allow them to meet their challenges and achieve success in all forms. We are so proud of each and every one of you! Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
