The Center for Student Leadership is Conwell-Egan's newest initiative to help students discover and develop their leadership skills. The CSL will provide one-of-a-kind programs that both challenge and reward CEC students.

April 18, 2023 (FAIRLESS HILLS, PA) - Conwell-Egan Catholic High School (CEC), a co-ed, Catholic preparatory school serving students in 9th-12th grade, was recently named Bucks County’s Best High School and Best Private School by Bucks Happening, the premier digital magazine in Bucks County, PA. This is the third year in a row CEC was crowned the winner in the Everything Bucks: High School category.
CEC has once again been recognized for its excellence in education in the online magazine’s annual “Happening List” contest, a popular people’s choice competition in the region. CEC has collected a combination of both category Wins and Finalist awards over the last four years. CEC was previously named “Best Private School” and was a Finalist in the “Best High School'' category in 2020.
“Once again, we are extremely honored to be recognized for our excellence in our community,” said Principal Matthew Fischer. “CEC continues to grow and invest in innovative programs and updated facilities that have transformed our campus into an award-winning destination. We remain committed to our mission of providing an innovative, affordable, Catholic education in Lower Bucks county.”
Earlier in 2023, Bucks Happening conducted its annual online contest that included various categories for area schools and businesses. Thousands of individuals voted to determine their favorites in multiple categories before the winners were announced. To ensure fairness and accuracy, an extensive audit process was in place while calculating the results.
“It’s wonderful to see our community acknowledge and celebrate the unique advantage of a CEC education for the fourth year in a row,” added Fischer. “We could not be recognized in such a way without the unmatched commitment of our students, parents, teachers, administrators, and alumni.”
