CEC Named Best Private School in Bucks County for Second Year in a Row

CEC took home the title in 2020 and won once again in the online contest for 2021

September 28, 2021 (FAIRLESS HILLS, PA) – Conwell-Egan Catholic High School (CEC), a co-ed, Catholic preparatory school serving students in grades 9-12, was recently named Best Private School in the Bucks County Courier Times Best Of contest for the second year in a row. CEC took home the title in 2020 and won once again in the online contest for 2021. Nominees included many local private elementary and high schools.

The Courier Times collected online votes for the competition with a nomination period in June and open voting in July. The top three candidates were announced in August, followed by the release of the winners in September.

Matthew Fischer, Principal at CEC, was thrilled to learn the news of the results. "We are once again incredibly grateful to everyone in our community who voted to help CEC defend its title as the Best Private School in Bucks County. Our teachers light the way for students to begin and complete their high school journey, discover their potential, and become lifelong learners. We are proud to be named the Best Private school in Bucks County once again. We are excited for the future as we plan more innovative programs and opportunities for our students that continue to keep CEC moving forward.”

CEC was recognized for its excellence last year after also being named Best High School on the Bucks Happening Happening List and was also featured in Suburban Life magazine for its innovation, leadership, and continual self-improvement.

"This award is truly an honor and testament to the one-of-kind experience that our faculty and staff have delivered for many years. CEC is dedicated to constantly improving the tools it provides for the best learning environment for our students, with upgrades that continue across campus including our brand new turf field, increased support in our Counseling Center and Academic Resource Center, updated science and Engineering labs, and state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center - with even more to come," added Fischer. “CEC is truly a school on the move.”
