Conwell-Egan Catholic High School (CEC), a co-ed Catholic college preparatory school serving students in grades 9–12, has been named Bucks County’s “Best High School” for the sixth time in the 2026 Happening List by Bucks Happening. CEC was also recognized as a Finalist in the “Best Private School” category, further highlighting the school’s continued excellence in education.
The Happening List is an annual people’s choice contest conducted by Bucks Happening, the premier digital magazine serving Bucks County. Each year, thousands of community members vote to recognize their favorite local schools, businesses, and organizations across a variety of categories.
“We are honored to once again be recognized on the Happening List,” said CEC President, Matthew Fischer ‘04. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our faculty, staff, students, and families who work together every day to create a vibrant learning environment rooted in faith, academic excellence, and service. We are excited to continue investing in programs and facilities that position us as a top destination in Bucks County.”
Earlier this year, Bucks Happening conducted its annual online voting contest, inviting community members to vote for their favorites across numerous categories. Thousands of votes were cast throughout the competition before the winners and finalists were announced. An audit process was also conducted to ensure fairness and accuracy in the results.
