Conwell-Egan Catholic Voted Bucks County's Best Private School on "Happening List"

CEC Also Named a Finalist in Best High School Category

April 14, 2020 (FAIRLESS HILLS, PA) - Conwell-Egan Catholic High School(CEC), a co-ed, Catholic preparatory school serving students in grades 9-12, was recently voted Bucks County’s “Best Private School” by Bucks Happening, the premier digital magazine in Bucks County, PA. CEC also captured a finalist award in the “Best High School” category.

In its first-ever appearance in the competition, CEC has been recognized for its excellence in education in the online magazine’s annual “Happening List” contest, a popular people’s choice competition in the region.

“To be recognized as the Best Private School in Bucks County is a true testament to our thriving community. Our faculty and staff consists of a wonderful group of professionals who are incredibly dedicated to the success of our students,” said CEC Principal Matthew Fischer. “CEC has recently invested in so many ways that we’re proud of, including expanding our counseling center to provide for a 100:1 ratio, launching a restructured 9-period academic program to allow for extra math and English enrichment, opening a brand new Academic Resource Center to support student success, and funding a cutting-edge Center for Student Leadership to connect students to careers.”

Earlier in 2020, Bucks Happening conducted its annual online contest that included various categories for area schools and businesses. Thousands of individuals voted to determine their favorites in multiple categories before the winners were announced. To ensure fairness and accuracy, an extensive audit process was in place while calculating the results.

“CEC works hard every day to deliver an exceptional learning experience for students at all levels, so we are very pleased to be recognized for our dedication to that mission,” added Fischer. “From our talented teachers, to our unmatched counselors, we’re proud to celebrate all these educators who provide an excellent environment for our students. We are also so grateful to our community who voted to honor us with this title. This is yet another example of how CEC continues to set itself apart from other schools in the area.”
