Through the performing arts program at CEC, students are able to creatively express themselves through the portrayal of a variety of different characters, as well as through the performance of music from many different cultures. Students have the opportunity to explore and refine their skills in instrumental music, vocal music, and theatrical performance.

Current Course Offerings:
This ensemble will be responsible for performing all music at school masses as well as the Spring Concert. Members will be expected to commit to some rehearsals in the summer (late August), and perform at all school masses, including Baccalaureate. No audition is required.
Admission to Chamber Choir requires an audition, and rehearsals will take place once a week outside of class. Members will be expected to practice music outside of rehearsal, and be committed to fine choral singing and music literacy. Chapel Choir will perform in both concerts, as well as smaller functions throughout the school year.
These Archdiocesan-wide ensembles require specific, rigorous auditions. Mr. Kuchler is available to help with preparation. All Catholic Music festivals are three days long and conclude with a concert.
The Theatre Program at CEC provides students with the opportunity to express their creative abilities through the art of theatre. Students may participate in the cast, stage crew, tech crew, or as members of the pit orchestra. Each season features a play in the fall and a musical production in the spring. Auditions will be announced in school. For more information, please contact Mr. Kuchler.
